Exhibit #1: The Goddess and Her Dragon
Inspired by the written sagas and trilogies of fantastical worlds. Fantasy writers use their words to create allegories for their own realities and translate into characters with valiance and pure hearts, cruel tendencies and amorality. In this series, a young goddess leaves the safety of her family fortress to forge her own path.
Exhibit #2: Shadowy Figures
Inspired by bedtime stories told to young children. In this series, the creatures are shaped by a poem written by the artist’s son when he was 9 years old (regarding the shadows that frightened him as a 6 year old child).
